Physiotherapist

katy@aaphysiotherapy.com

Katy has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia and has undertaken the mentorship program through Manual Therapy Institute and Adelaide Advanced Physiotherapy to further her skills using Strain-Counterstrain techniques. Her passion is to help people understand their body and to restore pain free movement and function.

She has worked with sporting teams, in aged care and neuro-rehabilitation, bringing experience with all ages and abilities to the clinic. Currently, Katy balances treating at Adelaide Advanced Physiotherapy and teaching physiotherapy students at the University of South Australia. Katy has an interest in the human mind and body, chronic pain and low back pain, assessing the body as a multi-system being, to determine cause and effect.

Outside of physiotherapy you may find her outdoors, at community events, mentoring youth and practising yoga.  She finds joy in reading, meditation and travel.
